We meet the tenant at the property on the moving in day and walk through the property and inventory with the tenant. The aim is to ensure that the inventory provides an accurate and fair description of the property and its contents including the decor, fixtures, fittings, furnishings and soft furnishings and that the tenant is confident any issues are noted in the report.
At the end of the check in we will complete a schedule of condition and cleanliness report of the property, take the utility meter readings where possible, and list the keys that are being handed over. The tenant then signs the check in declaration.
